JASON ROSELL
Jason Rosell is an Actor/Model/Host/Reality Celebrity who acquired tremendous visibility and popularity after being cast on VH1’s I Love New York, reaching approximately four million viewers weekly during the shows run. During the introductory episode of the series Jason was dubbed “Heat” by Tiffany “New York” Pollard, due to his charm and distinctive good looks causing him to stand out from the other 20 contestants as “the hottest guy in the place”. Following I Love New York, Jason returned with fellow contestant Dave “12 Pack” Amerman to host the After-Show for the series’ second season.
Jason and Dave combined their “Heat” and “12 Pack” personas to form “The Party Boyz”, as a response to the fan uproar their hard partying nightlife exhibition on I Love New York generated, and have parlayed that into a nationwide nightclub appearance tour as well as several sponsorships. The two add their energy and look to any event as exciting and dynamic Host/MCs.
Prior to I Love New York, Jason has starred in numerous television and film projects, most notably HBO’s Entourage, the WB’s Gilmore Girls, Discovery’s Dr. G: Medical Examiner, The Celestine Prophecy, 7-10 Split, Chill and Trapped in Perfection.
Jason’s mixed Spanish and Puerto Rican heritage give him a unique look which allows him the versatility to play a wide range of ethnicities. Coupled with his bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) and his bicoastal inhabitance (born in New York and currently resides in Los Angeles) Jason has been exposed to a very wide range of dialects and urban cultures that work to expand his adaptability for projects.
Recently Jason has made television appearances on FOX’s Reality Remix, Battle of the Bods, and the 2007 FOX Reality Awards as well as TV Guide’s Reality Chat. Additionally, Jason appears in multiple feature films this year including In My Sleep, Trapped In Perfection, Unemployed and Tamales and Gumbo.
This summer Jason will be seen in VH1’s new reality all-star show I Love Money. The show features cast members from VH1’s hit shows I Love New York, Rock of Love and Flavor of Love facing off in pursuit of cold, hard cash. The 17 “Love” contestants travel to Mexico and compete for a $250,000 grand prize.
